Plum Rotary Club is partnering with the Blessing Board of Oakmont to sponsor a household goods drive.
The mission of the Blessing Board is to provide donated household furnishings to those in need at no cost. The Blessing Board averages 800 calls a month for assistance and was on track to helping 1,700 families in 2019.
To help the Blessing Board in their mission of helping others, the Plum Rotary Club is accepting donations of household goods.
We are looking for small working appliances (such as microwaves, toasters, crock pots, etc.) and household goods (such as dishes, silverware, pots and pans). We are also accepting gently used sheets, blankets and towels. These items must be free from heavy stains, rips and tears and conditions such as pet hair, cigarette smoke, bed bugs or mold.
We are NOT accepting broken small appliances, furniture, computers, clothing, books or knick knacks.
Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours beginning Wednesday, February 19th through Friday, March 6th at the following locations:
PLUM BORO MUNICIPAL BLDG., 4575 New Texas Road
PLUM COMMUNITY CENTER, 499 Center-New Texas Road
STATE FARM, RON BOLLER AGENCY, 907 Presque Isle Drive
